The Democratic Divide:

A conversation on the relationship between economic and political inequality

Whether it’s generations locked out of housing, people seeking asylum, or communities experiencing harm from gambling and alcohol: those experiencing the increasing gulf of economic inequality are not having policy decisions made in their interests. Why is this?

This Autumn, we invite you to a conversation with Cassandra Goldie, Jon Owen and Saffron Zomer on the relationship between economic and political inequality, and how we might remove barriers to democratic participation for communities who have less political power.

Please pass along this invite to fellow travellers, particularly those who are passionate about addressing issues of inequality and disadvantage in Australia. There are limited spaces, so secure your spots now.

We hope to see you there!
